Kanban view is an alternative to the traditional candidate list view in recruitment. It allows you to conveniently review applications divided by stage and move them between stages using drag & drop. In Kanban, all candidates for a given recruitment process are visible on one screen.
Note: Applications assessed by a manager using the Candidate Card tool will not be fully supported in Kanban. For recruitments using Candidate Card, there are two limitations:
You cannot send Candidate Card for evaluation from the Kanban view.
You cannot view managers’ evaluations in the Kanban view.
Complete information will only be available for applications assessed using the Application Review in Business Account feature.
Switching to the Kanban View
To switch to Kanban, open the selected recruitment project and then toggle to the Kanban view using the Kanban icon.
You can switch back to the candidate list view via the icon in the same location.
After switching, you'll see the interface displaying all candidates as individual cards organized in columns. Each column corresponds to a different recruitment stage.
Changing Recruitment Project
To switch to a different recruitment project, click the expand icon next to the current project's name.
A window will appear where you can search for and select another recruitment project.
Customizing the Kanban View
In Kanban, you can hide, reveal, or reorder the recruitment stage columns. Click the settings icon (gear) in the top-right corner.
In the settings window, you can:
Search for specific recruitment stages to hide or reveal.
Hide/reveal stages via selection checkboxes.
Reorder stages (columns) using drag & drop—drag the stage (represented by a dotted icon) to your desired position (the topmost stage becomes the leftmost column).
Reset the view settings to default.
Save your changes.
Candidate Information on Each Card
Each card in the column represents an individual candidate at that stage. The card displays key information about the candidate and allows you to perform specific actions.
On each card, you’ll find:
Candidate’s first and last name (clicking opens their full candidate card in a new browser tab).
Candidate’s email address.
The AI Preselection symbol for candidates whose CV most closely matches the job posting.
The candidate’s score from the recruiter, which can be adjusted via an interactive slider.
Candidate’s expected salary.
Notes about the candidate—clicking opens notes in a new browser tab. A red dot indicates unread notes, with a number indicating total notes.
Messages related to the candidate—clicking opens them in a new tab. A red dot indicates unread messages, with a number indicating total messages.
Managers’ decisions—hovering over the icon reveals details.
A button to send the application for manager evaluation (only available with Application Review in Business Account).
A button to open the candidate's profile in a new browser tab.
A button that opens a context menu.
The date of any scheduled meeting with the candidate (if one is scheduled).
Changing a Candidate’s Stage
To move a candidate to another stage, drag & drop their card: hover over the card, click and hold, then drag it to the desired column.
Depending on the destination stage, you may need to fill in additional information in a side panel that slides in. For example, when moving a candidate to the “Interview” stage.
Searching Candidates in Kanban
Candidates in Kanban can be sorted, filtered, and searched using keywords.
Sorting
Available for each column individually—click the sort icon next to the stage name. By default, sorting is based on the last stage change, but you can also sort by:
First and Last Name
Score
Application Date
The chosen sorting applies consistently and won’t reset when navigating to other parts of the system.
Filtering
Click the filter icon next to the recruitment name, select criteria, and click "Filter" at the bottom of the panel.
Filtered results appear, and the filter icon will show a green dot indicating active filters.
Note: filters are not saved and reset automatically when leaving Kanban or the candidate list.
Keyword Search
Type keywords into the "Search applications" field and press Enter to show only matching candidates. This works the same as the search in the "Recruitments" tab in the candidate list and the “Candidates” tab.
