A general note is a note assigned to a candidate’s application within a specific recruitment process. It is visible to all users who have access to that recruitment.
General notes are also visible to managers (Business Users) who receive the Interactive Candidate Card. Managers (Business Users) can add notes directly on the Interactive Candidate Card, these notes are also considered general notes.

An internal note is a comment added by a user who has access to the system. It is assigned to the candidate and is visible to all users who have access to that candidate, regardless of the recruitment process they are in.
Internal notes are not visible to managers (Business Users) who receive the Interactive Candidate Card.

Note! Users with the Administrator or Recruiter role have access to every note left on a candidate. This is because they have access to all recruitments in the system, and therefore to every application.
A Mini User can only see internal notes they have created themselves.
