Business Account is a new space in eRecruiter that enables hiring managers or people involved in onboarding to submit applications for hiring a new employee (if the company uses the Vacancy Module in eRecruiter), evaluate job applications and/or carry out specific onboarding tasks (if the company uses the Onboarding Module).

Who has access to the Business Account?

Business Account is accessible to every system user having a username and a password, after receiving the first job application submitted for review or assigning the first employee being onboarded, including people with the Business User role.

This space consists of a number of modules (currently: Application Review, Vacancy and Onboarding) and accessing at least one of them enables the user to enter the Business Account.

If a person with the Business User role receives the access to the Business Account, login credentials are sent to this user by electronic mail, so that they can enter eRecruiter just like a person with any other role. After the access is granted, the user receives an e-mail message with an activation link.

Access for a Business User using a Business Account will not be automatically deleted after 90 days, as was the case with the Interactive Candidate Card. Access can be normally revoked by the System Administrator from the settings level.

Where can you find the Business Account?

Access to the Business Account depends on the role in the system.

  • Business User: having received the access to the Business Account and logged in to the system, the user with this role will see the Application Review and/or Onboarding and/or Vacancy tab in the main menu (depending on the modules used by the company). It means that the Business User will not be able to access the remaining tabs displayed to users with different roles (e.g. Projects, Candidates, etc.). The Business User role can be assigned, for instance, to a hiring manager or person representing a supporting department (e.g. HR or IT) and involved in the onboarding process.

  • User with a different role (e.g. Administrator, Recruiter or User) can be granted the access to the Business Account, if they have received any job applications for review and/or have been indicated as a superior of a newly hired employee in the Onboarding Module. Such a user will see a new Business Account tab in the main menu of the system. Clicking this tab displays the available functionalities, i.e. Application Review and/or Onboarding and/or Vacancy.

What does the Business Account contain?

It contains all modules and functionalities that enable the collaboration between the HR teams and other employees, e.g. hiring managers or people involved in the onboarding process.

Currently three functionalities are available in the Account:

  • Application Review — a new method of job application evaluation by the managers replacing the Candidate Card. We discuss it in detail here (from the manager’s perspective) and here (from the recruiter’s perspective).

  • Onboarding Module for managers — a part of the Onboarding Module where superiors can monitor the onboarding of newly hired employees and carry out the tasks assigned to them.

  • Vacancy Module — a module enabling the submission of applications for the employment of a new employee.

We are planning to expand the Business Account with more collaboration-facilitating functionalities and we are open to our clients’ ideas!

Do you have to pay for the Business Account?

The Application Review functionality is and will remain free of charge. You only need to pay for each user’s access to the system. Both the Vacancy Module and the Onboarding Module require an extra fee, but you can test them for free.
