Do you review dozens or even hundreds of CVs in each recruitment? Want to save time and speed up candidate selection? Try the new feature in the eRecruiter system!

AI Preselection is another free AI-powered solution in the system — alongside job ad and interview question generators — that supports recruiters in their daily work.

The feature is currently in testing and will be continuously developed.

How does AI Preselection work?

AI Preselection is a solution where artificial intelligence:

  • checks the consistency of the candidate’s answers in the application form with the preferred answers indicated by the recruiter (if any were specified),

  • and then compares the job ad content with the candidate’s experience described in the CV.

The algorithm adds the “AI Preselection” label to candidates who are matched in this way.

If you want to quickly find and schedule interviews with suitable candidates, start your selection with those recommended by AI. We also encourage you to review all applications.

Note: The algorithm compares candidates from all application sources used in a given recruitment process. However, the condition is that the job ad must be published on Pracuj.pl — this source is treated by the algorithm as the reference point for comparison.

Therefore, it’s important to ensure that the job ad content is the same across all application sources.

Example: The job ad was published on Pracuj.pl, InfoPraca, and via the Employee Referral Module. Candidates from all three sources will be subject to AI Preselection because the condition of publication on Pracuj.pl is met. The algorithm will compare all candidates to the job ad content published on Pracuj.pl, even if the ad content on InfoPraca differs.

AI Preselection and preferred answers in form questions

When the form contains questions with preferred answers, the AI Preselection algorithm works as follows:

Step 1:

The algorithm checks the preferred answers to single-choice questions. The candidate must provide preferred answers to all such questions to receive an AI Preselection recommendation.

If even one question with a preferred answer is not answered accordingly — the candidate will not be recommended.

If the candidate passes this stage or the form does not contain single-choice questions, the algorithm proceeds to step two.

Step 2:

The algorithm checks the preferred answers to multiple-choice questions. The candidate must provide preferred answers to all such questions, but it is sufficient to select at least one preferred answer in a question with multiple preferred options.

If the application passes this stage, the standard verification of CV content matching the job ad follows.

If the form does not contain any questions with preferred answers, AI Preselection will recommend candidates based solely on the match between CV content and the job ad.

This way of operating makes AI Preselection recommend candidates who are better matched to the recruitment requirements and the desired profile — even if the number of recommendations is lower than before.

How to use AI Preselection?

To easily find candidates recommended by artificial intelligence, use the “AI Preselection” filter on the candidate list in the recruitment.

Note: We have no control over the content of CVs, so remember that recommendations may include mismatched applications. Conversely, a candidate with relevant experience may not be recommended by AI Preselection if their CV lacks key information related to the job ad.

To ensure the algorithm matches candidates well, the published job ad must contain specific requirements and all necessary information. Similarly, the CV must include information corresponding to the job ad.

Example: If you need the employee to speak English well, the job ad must state “English language min. B2 / intermediate.” If the candidate includes this skill in their CV, the AI algorithm will find the match.

Candidates who meet most criteria (but not all) will be indicated by AI Preselection as matched — the consistency between CV content and the job ad does not have to be 100%.

It may also happen that no CV matches the job ad content — in that case, AI Preselection will not recommend any candidate in the recruitment.

TIP: The administrator can disable this feature in the system settings, under the “AI Preselection” tab.
